All About Sourdough
What is Sourdough Bread
If you are unfamiliar with sourdough, the quick explanation is that rather than adding dry packaged yeast to make the bread rise quickly, sourdough uses natural yeasts that have been cultured over time to give it a very distinct tangy taste and natural rise. Oftentimes, sourdough starter (the key ingredient) has been with the baker for many years or even centuries. I started my starter in 2022 from a dehydrated portion from a friend.
Sourdough has many benefits over regular bread and in my opinion tastes far superior! When making sourdough breads and other products the dough is mixed and fermented slowly at room temperature and then in the refrigerator for a total of approximately 24 hrs or longer. This results in an increase in the bioavailability of the grain’s vitamins and minerals. This process also starts the breakdown of protein (including gluten), making sourdough easier to digest. This is why some people with mild gluten allergies may still be able to eat this bread with no issues.
Sourdough may also support gut health. Research suggests that the fermentation process improves the bioavailability of fiber and minerals. This is because a naturally occurring compound found in grains, called phytic acid, is broken down and this enables us to access the grain’s nutrients more readily. Also, during this process the fiber and plant compounds, called polyphenols, become more bio-available. These act as an important fuel source for our gut microbes, which makes sourdough bread a gut-friendly choice!
All of my products are fermented for at least 24 hours. This allows all those awesome bacteria to work their magic on the dough. Most of my breads and other items can be enjoyed by people with mild gluten sensitivities due to the longer ferment time and breakdown of the gluten by the natural yeasts. Always check with your doctor if you have a serious gluten allergy. All ingredients used are organic and of the highest quality available.

Sourdough Protein Bars
If you are looking for a clean snack or meal replacement, I have the perfect option for you! My sourdough protein bars! 💪 Each bar has at least 15g of whey/beef isolate protein from grass fed beef. No fillers or artificial sweeteners. The bars are sweetened only with raw local honey. I have about 17 flavors in rotation right now but i am always looking for new suggestions. Most bars are 100% organic, there are a few that have one or two non-organic ingredients due to availability. All ingredients and nutrition information is on the label on each bar.
Currently, the bars are stocked in the refrigerator at Full Circle Meals and F45 Shelby 26 Mile. I don't take orders for protein bars, they are first come first serve and restocked usually 2-3 times per week. Below is a list of some of my current flavors.

All ingredients are sourced from trustworthy U.S. herb cultivators and distributors. Organic and wild-crafted ingredients are used in all tea blends. Each herb has been researched and hand-selected for its beneficial properties and health benefits. Ingredients are personally hand-crafted in small batches to ensure quality and consistency.
Organically Grown
Organic growing and processing help protect natural resources. Organic foods are grown on land free from synthetic fertilizers, growth regulators, insecticides, or herbicides for at least three years. Practices like composting, crop rotation, and interplanting control weeds and pests, replenish the soil, and sustain planetary health.
Wild Craft
Wild crafting, or wild harvesting, involves collecting plants from their natural habitats while sustaining the environment and protecting endangered species. These plants are naturally organic but cannot be certified as such, since they are outside the control of growers and processors. Harvesters must provide a three-year history of the areas harvested to comply with The Organic Food Production Act of 1990.
