Instructions
Preheat the OvenPreheat your oven to 300°F.
Mix the Wet Ingredients with Protein PowderIn a large mixing bowl, add:honeyprotein powderwatervanillaavocado oilsaltMix until a thick paste forms. It may seem dry at first, but continue mixing until smooth and well combined. Try to break up any lumps from the protein powder.
Add Starter and EggsAdd the sourdough starter and eggs.Mix thoroughly until fully incorporated and the batter becomes smoother.
Add Dry Ingredients & Mix-InsStir in:rolled oatschia seedsyour mix-ins of choiceKeep total mix-ins to about 2 cups or less.Mix until everything is evenly distributed.
Portion the BarsScoop the mixture into silicone protein bar molds (makes about 16 bars).Alternatively, you can use a 9×13 pan, but baking time may vary.
BakeBake for 45-50 minutes.You want the edges to be nice and golden brown. If your oven runs unevenly, rotate the pan 180° with about 15 minutes remaining.
CoolLet the bars cool in the mold for about 15-20 minutes.Then remove and place on a cooling rack to cool completely.
